Last week, Jerry Seinfeld stirred things up by hinting that some sort of Seinfeld reunion was in the works. But he was emphatic that the reunion: a) wasn't a Super Bowl ad and b) wasn't an episode of his Web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
Well it turns out, the comedian wasn't totally playing straight with us. During Fox's Super Bowl halftime show, Seinfeld and his former co-star Jason Alexander (George Costanza) were featured in a vignette bickering in their old coffee shop in New York. Turns out it was a promotion for a six-minute episode of Crackle's hit Comedians in Cars featuring Jerry and George takng a drive, in character.
The Acura-sponsored show features the pair in a 1976 American Motors Pacer. But it doesn't feature Kramer or Elaine.
